GMF’s Paris office coordinates the Marshall Memorial Fellowship program in Europe. It also serves as the chief liaison point with French partners and institutions, coordinates grantmaking and partnership activity in France, and plays a key role in the annual Transatlantic Trends survey. The Paris office has brought influential American and European thinkers and policymakers to Paris to meet with academics, government officials, and journalists. The Paris office also organizes study tours to the United States for small groups of French decision-makers and experts to have focused meetings with their counterparts in Washington, DC. The Paris office celebrated its fifth anniversary in 2005.
