Representatives of the Cleveland Foundation and the German Marshall Fund, along with alumni of the Marshall Memorial Fellowship program, gathered on December 9 in Cleveland to honor the new class of Marshall Memorial Fellows representing the city.
The newly-selected Fellows include Ms. Colleen Gilson, executive director of Cleveland Neighborhood Development Coalition; Mr. Gregory Peckham, executive director of Cleveland Public Art; Mr. Darin Siley, data management analyst at Cuyahoga Community College; and Ms. Arlene Watson, principal and creative director of Mobius Grey. All four Fellows will travel to Europe in 2011 as part of the Marshall Memorial Fellowship, GMF's flagship leadership development initiative. The new Fellows also join a local network of nearly 60 MMF alumni, one of the largest in the United States.
The German Marshall Fund would like to thank the Cleveland Foundation for its longtime support and partnership on the Marshall Memorial Fellowship program. In particular, GMF wishes to acknowledge Cleveland Foundation President Ronn Richard; Bob Eckardt, senior vice president for programs and evaluation; India Pierce Lee, program director for neighborhoods, housing, and community development; and Annabel Bryan, program assistant.
