COP 15 Event on Global Carbon Market Livestreamed

At 9:00am (CET) on Wednesday, December 16, the German Marshall Fund and the Nicholas Institute at Duke University will be hosting an event at the COP 15 conference in Copenhagen titled "Designing a Transparent and Credible Global Carbon Market". Patrick Woodcock, Office of Senator Olympia Snowe; Jos Delbeke, Deputy Director-General of Environment, European Commission; Nigel Purvis, Senior GMF Fellow and President of Climate Advisers; and Jonas Monast, Duke Nicolas Institute participate in a moderated discussion on emerging U.S. climate & energy legislation, carbon market transparency and oversight, and prospects for linking a U.S. emissions trading program with other programs, including in Europe.
