Jim Kolbe moderates discussion with heads of the World Bank and WTO on Aid for Trade Agenda

On March 14, GMF Senior Transatlantic Fellow Jim Kolbe moderated a discussion between the President of the World Bank Group, Robert Zoellick, and the WTO’s Director-General, Pascal Lamy. As part of a day-long event titled ”Building Capacity for Trade in Developing Countries: Fostering Public and Private Cooperation in Aid for Trade” held at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the panel focused on the role of the WTO and the World Bank in the aid for trade agenda and opportunities for strengthening coordination and partnerships between private and public sector initiatives in building capacity for trade in developing countries.
