Lugar Institute inaugural roundtable

On Wednesday January 9, 2012, Senator Richard Lugar was joined by a distinguished group of twenty-five diplomats at the inaugural Ambassadorial Roundtable of the Richard G. Lugar Institute for Diplomacy and Congress. Senator Lugar opened the conversation with remarks on the fiscal cliff debate, giving the ambassadors an inside view of the negotiations and their impacts in both U.S. and world affairs. This roundtable discussion was the first in what will be a regular series organized by the Institute.
