The U.S. climate and energy debate, Copenhagen, and beyond at COP15 December 14, 2009 / Copenhagen



On December 14, GMF in partnership with the Nicholas Institute at Duke University and Evolution Markets hosted a dinner event in Copenhagen. The event connected key stakeholders in the climate debate from the United States, Europe, and emerging economies to discuss the status and implications of the Copenhagen negotiations. Participants included senior congressional staff; members of the European Parliament and European Commission; and leaders in the business, NGO, and foundation communities from the United States, Europe, and China. Guests shared their perspectives and analysis of the negotiations and likely outcomes in Copenhagen at six separate moderated table discussions.
