What Europeans Think About the Eurocrisis February 01, 2012 / Bruce Stokes
In Europe, what started out three years ago as a sovereign debt crisis and then morphed into a euro currency crisis has by now triggered a full-blown crisis of public confidence: in the economy, in the future, and in the European project. To avoid the trap of self-fulfilling prophecies, policymakers, politicians, and analysts need to gauge the public mood as thoroughly and accurately as possible. This paper analyzes dozens of European surveys conducted over the past year on key issues relating to the euro crisis.

In this podcast, GMF Senior Transatlantic Fellow Bruce Stokes interviews Pawel Swieboda, President of demosEUROPA in Warsaw, Poland, about how the European debt crisis will change EU-Asia relations.
