Eastern Ukraine too dangerous for AFP officers
A team of unarmed Australian Federal Police have been forced to delay their planned visit to the crash site of Malaysia Airlines flight 17 in eastern Ukraine because the area has been declared unsafe.
The 11 unarmed officers were due to join a Dutch-led team to recover remaining body parts at the crash site.
But continued fighting from the Ukrainian side - advancing against the rebels - has led the Organisation for Co-operation and Security in Europe to declare the area too dangerous.
