Fifth Mercator European Dialogue – The Future of EU Prosperity
The Fifth Mercator European Dialogue will bring national policymakers from across Europe together with experts and practitioners dealing with the present and the future challenges of designing Europe’s path to prosperity. We will discuss what role national parliaments can play in shaping the prosperity agenda at home and at the EU level. The meeting, held in Paris, will further offer the opportunity to explore the political and socioeconomic landscape of a member state of renewed significance in the European arena that is itself undergoing profound political changes.
This European network is a project by The German Marshall Fund of the United States in cooperation with the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs, the Istituto Affari Internazionali in Rome, and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy in Athens and is funded by Stiftung Mercator and since 2017 also by the King Baudouin Foundation.
