Please join us for a conversation with Mark Strand, President of the Congressional Institute, on the role of Congress in the era of Trump. Mark Strand will explore the Trump administration’s impact on Congress and whether it has become institutionally stronger or weaker during the current administration.
Strand regularly speaks to organizations about how Congress works (or doesn’t). He was named a 2017 Fellow by the Harvard Kennedy School Institute of Politics and has also been an adjunct professor of legislative affairs at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management. Strand is the co-author of the bookSurviving Inside Congress, a guidebook for Congressional staff, now in its fifth edition.
