Energy and Euro-Atlantic Relations: Shifting Security Dynamics
Energy security is at the top of the global agenda. The world energy map is being fundamentally redrawn by the shift of global centers of growth, successful employment of new technologies, and changing patterns of consumption. These changes are evolving fast. Their new dynamics impact notions of energy security, and bring new challenges and opportunities throughout various regions.
As a result, a wide range of energy security approaches are being produced by national governance choices, resource availability, and regional geopolitical contexts. The conference organized by The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and the George C. Marshall Center for Security Studies (GCMC) will discuss the emerging architecture of regional energy security in light of these shifting dynamics.
