The Seventh Stockholm China Forum was held on the 12th and 13th of June, 2010, with the support of the Riksbankens Juibeleumsfond and the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Topics discussed included Chinese foreign policy after the financial crisis, how to improve China's relationship with the West, the Iranian nuclear crisis, and ways to achieve economic rebalancing. On May 28, GMF hosted a roundtable discussion entitled “Walking Through the Open Door: The U.S. Role in Helping Bosnia-Herzegovina Join a Europe Whole and Free.” The conversation featured Douglas Davidson, Ivan Vejvoda, and Pavol Demes, and focused on recent developments in Bosnia and gave recommendations for U.S. government policy in this multi-ethnic country bordering Serbia and Croatia. On February 25, The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) hosted Dr. Raffi Gregorian, the Acting High Representative of the Office of the High Representative (OHR), to discuss the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Dr. Gregorian, who has been at the center of international governance in BiH for the past two years, gave a detailed analysis of the conditions leading up to today's current challenges, as well as his estimation of the direction the country is moving. Ambassador Douglas Davidson, GMF Distinguished Visiting Fellow, moderated the discussion. From November 15-16, GMF convened a group of American, European, and North African policy experts to discuss the current and future potential for transatlantic cooperation on North Africa and the Mediterranean. On May 15, GMF held a series of events surrounding the EU-G8 Series, a two-panel workshop on the French Presidential elections and their impact on Europe and transatlantic relations, at the International Club in the Federal Foreign office.
