Immigration, Integration, and a New Transatlantic Generation: German-American Youth Exchange Program
On October 13, TLI senior fellows offered a leadership workshop for 10 young diverse U.S. and German leaders largely of Hispanic and Turkish descent at the start of their week-long visit to Washington to engage on the topic of “Immigration, Integration, and a New Transatlantic Generation: German-American Youth Exchange Program” through an initiative of the American Institute for contemporary German Studies. GMF/TLI also partnered through providing recruitment channels into the program, as part of our commitment to strengthening the pipeline of diverse talent into transatlantic leadership roles. The leadership workshop focused on practical skills for self-presentation, developing vision statements, and networking in order to maximize the effectiveness of this cohort during their Washington week and beyond.
