Ash Jain, a former member of the State Department’s policy planning staff, is a nonresident fellow with the German Marshall Fund of the United States and a consultant with the Eurasia Group.  He is also serving as executive director for the Project for a United and Strong America – a task force of bipartisan foreign policy experts outlining a blueprint for a new national security strategy. 

Jain previously served as a visiting fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, an adviser with the White House Office of Global Communications, and counsel with the Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs. His published articles and commentary have appeared in various news outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, the Hill, Fox News, C-Span, BBC, Canadian Broadcasting, Australian Broadcasting, and FRANCE 24.

Jain has a BA in political science from the University of Michigan and a JD/MS in foreign service from GeorgetownUniversity.
