Branding and Marking

The purpose of branding and marking is to ensure that all Bulgaria Fund projects make an appropriate acknowledgment of the support that made their realization possible, namely that of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Balkan Trust for Democracy (BTD).

To ensure this, grantees must follow the instructions given below. In the case of an eventuality not foreseen by these instructions, please devise a branding and marking strategy of your own with approval from your Bulgaria Fund program officer.

Instructions

The standard text to be used in branding and marking is:

Failure to comply with these instructions will be considered as a breach of contract.


Environmental Requirements

As a legacy grantmaking mechanism of USAID, the Bulgaria Fund is subject to applicable U.S. environmental laws, regulations, Executive Orders, and procedures that ensure the wise use of U.S. taxpayers’ money. Effective implementation of these ensures that all Bulgaria Fund projects are mindful and protective of our environment on which we all depend.
