The United States and Turkey share a strong partnership rooted in common values as well as shared interests and strategic objectives. Nonetheless, it has always been a high-maintenance relationship and has been tested several times over the years. Recently, the U.S.-Turkey relationship has been challenged most notably with the different priorities of the two allies in Syria and Iraq, among other issues. What implications do these challenges have on U.S.-Turkey relations? How can the two allies move forward despite their different priorities? Join us to discuss the outlook for the U.S.-Turkey relationship.
