Bellagio Dialogue on Migration
The Bellagio dialogue was a one-month program of workshops, fellowships, and cultural activities dedicated to addressing the challenges that international migration poses to the United States and Europe. By bringing together European and American policymakers, scholars, and community-based practitioners working on migration issues, the program seeked to identify and then share innovative solutions to economic, social, and security issues facing migrants and their host countries. It also looked at the opportunities for migration to contribute to economic development in high emigration countries.
