Intercultural and Interfaith Dialogue on Muslim Identity in the EU and Irish Identity in the USA

By looking at Muslims in Europe and Irish emigrants in the USA, it was hoped that the workshop would look at the similarities and differences and then explore how the Muslims in Europe would at some stage feel like the Irish Americans in the USA. To develop a common understanding it was agreed, in the application process for a grant, that the human rights based approach should underpin the project.
