Structure if the Development Taskforce

The Taskforce consists of 22 members and two Co-Chairs, from both Northern America and Europe, and representing a breadth of experience across sectors. The Co-Chairs, Jim Kolbe and Gunilla Carlsson, will form a Secretariat with staff support from the German Marshall Fund of the United States and the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Secretariat will be a virtual one, but will co-ordinate events, author the Taskforce report and organize follow-up events to launch the recommendations. GMF will also provide grants for experts in particular fields related to the Taskforce challenges to supplement the depth of the final recommendations.

Each Taskforce member or one designated contributor per member was asked to sit on a subgroup or workstream to tackle one challenge. These subgroups consist of between five and six Europeans and North Americans.
