Europe and the United States should start a new era.

There is great hope that with the new U.S. administration relations between the United States and its European partners will improve again. In their op-ed for Süddeutsche Zeitung, GMF President Karen Donfried and Munich Security Chairman Wolfgang Ischinger give an overview of a big task—and suggestions for how to succeed. They propose three concrete steps for a renewal of the transatlantic cooperation, which should start with the fight against the coronavirus.
