More than two years after the 2016 elections, the Russian government continues to attack democracy in the United States. It has one goal: to weaken us. 

These tactics are not just tied to elections. And they are not deployed in favor of one political party or candidate. Trolls backed by foreign governments continuously spread polarizing themes and disinformation on the right and the left on issues like immigration and gun control. Our government and the social media companies are still struggling to keep up with the threat.
