GMF Digital director Karen Kornbluh joined BBC World Service to discuss Facebook’s recent decision to uphold its ban of former president Donald Trump. This decision “solves absolutely nothing,” said Kornbluh. There is a “much bigger problem that requires regulation, requires enforcement, and that requires the platforms to be much more transparent and to clean up their act so that we don’t have conspiracy theories and extremism run rampant.”
