Shaping a Blueprint for Inclusive Governance in Cyberspace
Today, discussions around cyber governance are still dominated by various intergovernmental processes. Increasingly, states recognize the importance of multi-stakeholder input models given the increasing impact of cyber insecurity for the private sector and civil society. This event will discuss how to infuse intergovernmental processes with multistakeholderalism and explore how to make cyber governance more accessible and inclusive. We will draw from previous learned lessons and feature best practices from other (non-cyber) international organizations, present the conclusions of a GMF-Microsoft study on how to infuse cyber norms with third-party input, and look at the future of cyber global governance.
