Transatlantic Tuesdays - Unpacking U.S. Voters: The Female Factor

Speakers

  • Raumesh Akbari, State Senator Memphis, Tennessee General Assembly, TILN '18, MMF '19
  • Amanda Becker, Washington Correspondent of The 19th

Moderator

  • Corinna Horst, Senior Fellow and Deputy Director of GMF's Brussels Office

More Americans voted in the 2020 election than ever before. The electorate, however, seems to be more divided than ever before. At this Transatlantic Tuesday session, we will explore the fragmentation of voter interests in the United States and increasing divisions between constituencies. In particular, we will unpack and dissect what partisan and issue-based components make up the supposedly monolithic block of female voters in the United States.

Join us for a lively virtual discussion! #TransatlanticTuesdays
