Mediterranean Strategy Group

GMF’s Mediterranean Strategy Group (MSG) is the leading transatlantic dialogue on Mediterranean affairs. The forum brings together senior European and U.S. representatives from government, the media, business, and academia with some of the top strategic thinkers from both sides of the Mediterranean on a bi-annual basis for a highly interactive conversation on a wide spectrum of economic, foreign policy, and security issues.

The MSG was established in in 2009 and relies on a loyal group of core participants who maintain a continuously evolving dialogue over time. In addition, the group is consistently refreshed with a broader pool of experts from the three policy communities. The MSG is organized with the support of a number of partners, including founding partners Compagnia di San Paolo and the OCP Policy Center.
