Mercator European Dialogue
Europe is not something done to us.
It is not something done for us.
It is done by us.
The Mercator European Dialogue is transforming the way political changemakers talk. Turning European politics on its head, one conversation at a time. Across parties, across political ideologies, across borders. Our network of national parliamentarians is as diverse as Europe itself.
The Mercator European Dialogue is a network of 150+ members of parliaments from across approximately 20+ member states. The network convenes twice a year in different European cities and its members participate in regular, multilateral and thematic activities.
This European dialogue platform is a project by The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) in cooperation with the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs, the Istituto Affari Internationali in Rome, and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy in Athens and is funded by Stiftung Mercator and since 2017 also by the King Baudouin Foundation.
