Technology and Innovation

Innovation is transforming the global economy, the nature of international relations, and people's everyday lives. Over the past decade, the United States and Europe have often found themselves at a loggerheads over how to respond to that transformation. But while differences between the United States and Europe on some areas of policy loom large, those issues pale in comparison to the shared interest in setting global rules, working together to combat threats, and creating a more prosperous and interconnected future. GMF's research, analysis, convening, and leadership development seeks to increase mutual understanding, address irritants, and create a positive vision of what the United States, Europe, and transatlantic leadership look like in a technologically transformed world.
