How Can Confrontation in the South China Sea Be Prevented?

In an interview during the Stockholm China Forum, Feng Zhang, visiting fellow, Guangdong Research Institute for International Strategies (GRIIS), discusses relations between the United States and China in the South China Sea. Recognizing that increased military involvement by the United States would increase tensions between the two, Zhang argues that the current situation will not likely lead to a confrontation in the region.
