Ian Lesser, senior director, Foreign and Security Policy; and executive director, Transatlantic Center in Brussels, was a panelist on the debate on 'Security challenges in the Eastern Mediterranean and the CFSP,' which took place at the European Parliament.

Ian Lesser outlines the pressing geopolitical issues affecting the Eastern Mediterranean region, such as the situation in Syria, and how these challenges are impacting transatlantic security cooperation.

The European Parliament held the event in collaboration with the European Security Round Table and the Hellenic edition of the Foreign Affairs Magazine.
