WASHINGTON -- The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) learned this morning that it has been placed on a list of undesirable organizations by Russia’s Justice Ministry. GMF has not received any formal notification regarding this announcement. GMF does not have offices or staff in Russia.
GMF’s work to strengthen transatlantic relations in support of the values of democracy, human rights, and rule of law will continue unabated.
