The Honorable Lisa Murkowski welcomes GMF leadership programs alumni from Europe and the United States to the 2019 Marshall Seminar – Bridging the Urban-Rural Divide in Anchorage, Alaska. This seminar will be taking place from May 17-19, 2019, and will focus on exploring strategies and best practices for linking urban and rural communities around shared challenges and advancing social cohesion on both sides of the Atlantic.

GMF’s Marshall Seminar addresses critical issues of shared concern for Europe and the United States. It brings together leaders from all sectors for two days of transatlantic engagement, transfer of know-how, and brainstorming of opportunities for collaboration. The Seminar is exclusive to members of GMF’s alumni of programs such as the Marshall Memorial FellowshipTransatlantic Inclusion Leaders Network, and Manfred Worner Seminar, as well as leaders of the community in which it is taking place.

This seminar is made possible thanks to the generous support of GMF's Alumni Leadership Council

GMF would also like to recognize Anchorage Museum and local alumni for their additional support.
