Two Urban and Regional Policy Fellows Discuss High-Speed Rail, Neighborhood Revitalization

Bartek Starodaj, program coordinator with the Urban and Regional Policy Program at GMF, interviews Eric Eidlin and Celine Gipoloun, both of whom were 2013-2014 Urban and Regional Policy Fellows. Both discuss the outcomes and significance of their transatlantic research. Eric Eidlin, sustainable lead and community planner for the Federal Transit Administration, discussed the ongoing relevance of his research into high-speed rail development in French and Germany for the development of the high-speed rail system in California. Celine Gipoulon, a former project manager at the French National Agency for Urban Regeneration, discussed the application of her research into neighborhood revitalization efforts in three U.S. cities toward efforts in France.
