GMF Senior Fellow Jamie Fly to Return to RFE/RL as President and CEO

The German Marshall Fund of the United States congratulates Jamie Fly as he returns to the role of President and CEO of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. A GMF veteran, Jamie most recently served as a Senior Fellow and Senior Advisor to the President based out of Berlin. He previously co-directed GMF’s Alliance for Securing Democracy and led its Asia and Future of Geopolitics programs.

"I am delighted to see Jamie returning to this critical role at RFE/RL, much as I will miss him at GMF," said GMF president Karen Donfried.  "Jamie's strong leadership skills and deep commitment to RFE/RL's mission make him exactly the right person for this important job at such a challenging time."

Jamie returns to RFE/RL after serving in the same role from August 2019 to June 2020.
