The State of Ukraine-U.S.-EU Relations

"Every new American president in my professional experience has thought that he — one day she — but he is going to be the magical communicator who will develop a new relationship with Russia," says Matthew Bryza, non-resident fellow at the Atlantic Council, in this video recorded during the inaugural Kyiv Transatlantic Dialogues.

Bryza also explains how the current state of the Ukraine-U.S.-EU trilateral relationship has been good for transatlantic solidarity "because finally the U.S. and EU are on the same page with regard to sanctions and response to Russia’s aggression in Ukraine.
