About this event

In 2021, the German Marshall Fund of the United States has embarked on a deeper exploration of the strategies for building inclusive societies across all markers of diversity. The Stakeholder Influence on Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (SIIDE) Transatlantic Dialogue Series examines the ways societies on both sides of the Atlantic look at policy innovations that advance equity and the need to reverse policies that directly or indirectly have contributed to the disenfranchisement of citizens.

This second iteration of the Transatlantic Dialogue Series will explore the workforce and job development efforts that are designed to open new opportunities to all citizens, relying on the adage, "nothing achieves equity better than access to opportunity". What are the leading 21st century workforce and education policy efforts that are preparing diverse communities for the jobs of the future? What more can be done? Perspectives from across sectors will be brought into this conversation and will surface practical solutions for the future.
