About this event
Chancellor Angela Merkel defined politics in Germany for a generation and with her gone, younger German politicians have a unique opportunity to reshape the governance of their country and address key topics facing it. The German Marshall Fund of the United States and the Berlin-based podcast “Common Ground” are hosting a virtual town hall event to explore these young lawmakers’ plans for the future as well as the pressing issues for their generation. This event is part of GMF’s German election series, providing audiences in Europe and the United States with a deeper understanding of the momentous transition in German politics.
