About this event
Rafał Trzaskowski governs the city of Warsaw in line with the values of liberal democracy – protecting individual and civil rights, respecting the diverse histories of the Polish people, and fortifying the institutions of democracy like the rule of law, free and fair elections, and the freedom of the press.
Against the background of Russia’s war on Ukraine, Mayor Trzaskowski has also led the city’s effort to welcome and receive more than 350,000 Ukrainian refugees since late February.
Please join us for a moderated conversation with Mayor Trzaskowski to discuss the important role of cities in fortifying democracy and protecting civil rights.
If you have any questions, please contact William Stewart-Wood [email protected].
