Co-Creating Our City: Building Next-Level Youth Engagement

GMF Cities’ Co-Creating Our City project posits that young people and city decision-makers together can generate insights into and concrete proposals for the establishment of vibrant communities and the support of next-level youth engagement. Over the past year, youth and city officials in Charlotte, NC, and Düsseldorf, Germany, engaged in a series of workshops designed to identify new pathways for youth involvement in their respective cities. The project produced a toolkit for communities interested in producing their own co-creating initiative.
