Olivier Landour was formerly Visiting Senior Fellow at GMF.

Olivier Landour is the project director at the General Secretariat of Administration at the Ministry of Defense. Prior to that, he was with the Ministry of Defense Legal department as Director for International and European law. Earlier, he served as Director for Europe, North America, and Multilateral Affairs  (acting as Deputy Defence Policy Director) at the Directorate General for International Relations and Strategy of the Ministry of Defense. In 2007, he served as Director for Studies and Foresight in the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Defense (DRH-MD) and then in 2010 as Director for Social Relations, Statutes and Sectors. Prior to that role, he was assigned to NATO from 2004 to 2007 as a national expert in the International Secretariat, and then as Advisor to the Permanent Representative of France in the North Atlantic Council. In 1999, he was appointed as a Senior Civil Officer (administrateur civil) in the French Ministry of Defense where his first posting was in the legal department as the Head of the International Law Section. He is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and of the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA, National School of Public Administration, class “Cyrano de Bergerac”, 1997-1999).
