GMF congratulates the five leadership alumni teams that conceptualized and implemented high impact projects to advance new generation inclusive leadership, as part of GMF’s Alumni Leadership Action Projects. This set of projects empowered emerging diverse leaders, seeded and strengthened diverse leader networks, and helped to identify talent and widen pathways into GMF leadership programs:

  • Have a look this video report on the work of TILN alumni Kamilla Sultanova and Setumo Bodibe to reach next generation young diverse leaders in Finland with a workshop facilitated by GMF Senior Fellow Adnan Kifayat.

  • See the flyer for the “Young Diaspora Leaders” seminar run by TILN alumna Samira Rafaela in the Netherlands opening doors for social entrepreneurs and exploring the diplomatic roles that young diaspora entrepreneurs can play.

  • Congratulate MMF Nwando Olayiwola for creating a transatlantic dialogue within her growing “Minority Women Professionals are MVPs” empowerment series and featuring TILN alumna Linda Lopez as a speaker. Read about the powerful work of TILN alumnus Roland Ferkovics to change the narrative about Roma, in collaboration with TILN alumnus Senator Killer.

  • And recognize MMF/TILN alumna Ajenai Clemmons for her thoughtful work in piloting an “inclusion leader” project for Italy, also bringing Dutch alumnus Mpanzu Bamenga and German alumna Gün Tank to the table.

With these excellent results, GMF will continue to invest thoughtfully in pathway projects for rising young diverse leaders.  The next round of applications for GMF’s Alumni Leadership Action Projects is now open—click here to read more and apply.
