About this event

In a world marked by regional turmoil and intensifying great‑power competition, Washington is pursuing its own disruptive strategy. Amid conflict in the Middle East, war in Europe, and mounting friction with China, the United States has defied the expectations of many on both sides of the Atlantic and implemented bluntly interventionist policies. As part of this strategy, the United States has turned its sights further away from Europe and more toward other regions, including the Western Hemisphere. What are the roots of this approach and what will it mean for the transatlantic stakes in restoring global peace and security?

Please join us for an exploration of these issues with three American observers of global affairs by clicking on the registration button above.
