GMF Hope Fund for Turkey

The GMF Hope Fund for Turkey provides support to the people in Turkey who are impacted by the recent earthquakes through one of our Marshall Memorial Fellowship alumni members in Turkey, Ali Ercan Özgür. Ali, together with UNDP Goodwill Ambassador in Turkey Mert Fırat, has created an online platform, Needs Map, which brings together those in need and those who want to help. Needs Map is now building tent camps in Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, and Adıyaman, three provinces that are most impacted by the earthquake. GMF is supporting Ali’s work through the GMF Hope Fund for Turkey. This endeavor aligns closely with the spirit of the Marshall Plan, which gave hope to so many during one of Europe’s darkest hours. In its difficult hour, we stand with Turkey and its people.
